Gen V star Chance Perdomo, known for his role as Andre Anderson, a popular student and Luke’s best friend with magnetic manipulation capabilities, has tragically passed away at the age of 27 due to a motorcycle accident. Authorities have confirmed that no other individuals were involved in the incident.
Perdomo's family and representatives have released a heartfelt statement, highlighting his passion for the arts and zest for life, which touched all who knew him. They have requested privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.
Most recently, Perdomo starred in Prime Video’s Gen V, a spinoff of The Boys, alongside Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, and London Thor. Production on Season 2 of Gen V will be delayed following this tragedy.
The show's producer expressed disbelief and sorrow, describing Chance as charming, smiling, and an enthusiastic force of nature. They emphasized his incredible talent and kindness, stating that even speaking of him in the past tense feels surreal. They extended their deepest condolences to Chance’s family and mourned the loss of their friend and colleague.

Before his role on Gen V, Perdomo starred as Ambrose Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, England, Perdomo began his acting career at the National Youth Theater in London after deciding to pursue acting instead of law following his graduation.
