Sean 'Diddy' Combs Fights Back: Denies Assault Allegations Amidst Federal Probe

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing legal challenges as a federal sex-trafficking probe unfolds, but his legal team is fighting back against the accusations in civil suits.

Recently, they asked a New York court to dismiss parts of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by Joi Dickerson-Neal's attorneys. She accuses Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 1991 when she was 19, with the alleged assault recorded and shared with Combs' friends. Combs' lawyers aim to undermine the suit, seeking the dismissal of claims like revenge porn and human trafficking, citing that relevant New York laws weren't in place at the time of the alleged incident.

In a twist, Department of Homeland Security agents recently raided Combs' Holmby Hills and Miami mansions, seizing paperwork and electronics. This was part of the sex trafficking investigation led by prosecutors in the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York.

Combs' legal team has labeled the accusations in the Dickerson-Neal suit as "false, offensive, and salacious." They vigorously deny most of the claims and argue against suing Combs' corporations, which weren't in existence during the alleged incident.

The lawsuit claims that Dickerson-Neal, a Syracuse University student at the time, met Combs during a break and reluctantly agreed to have dinner with him in Harlem. It alleges that Combs gave her drugs, rendering her unable to stand or walk independently. Later, at a music studio, he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

This lawsuit is just one of several. Combs' longtime girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, and others have also accused him of sexual and physical abuse. While Combs settled the suit with Ventura, he has vehemently denied all allegations, especially those filed under the Adult Survivors Act, a New York law allowing individuals to sue their abusers for sexual assault even if the statute of limitations has expired.

Despite the mounting legal challenges, Combs remains resolute, declaring on Instagram, “Enough is enough." He has vowed to fight for his name, family, and the truth, maintaining his innocence amidst what his lead attorney, Aaron Dyer, calls an "unprecedented ambush." Dyer emphasizes that there have been no findings of criminal or civil liability related to these allegations.
