A really sad thing happened on the set of the new Marvel series "Wonder Man" – one of the crew members passed away in an accident. This guy, Juan Carlos Osorio, was working up in the rafters as a rigger when he fell. It all went down at CBS Radford Studios in Studio City, California.
Marvel Studios put out a statement sending their condolences to Osorio's family and friends. They're also helping out with the investigation to figure out exactly what happened. The cops showed up, but they don't think anything shady went down. Still, they're looking into it.
You know that actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II? Yeah, the guy from "Aquaman" and "Watchmen." Well, he was supposed to be in "Wonder Man." He was gonna play the main character, this Marvel dude from back in the '60s.
The show was supposed to be on Disney+, but they haven't said when yet. It's a real bummer what happened, and it's gotta be tough for everyone involved. Thoughts go out to Osorio's people and everyone working on the show.
