Tragic Passing of Bobbie Jean Carter: Cause of Death Revealed

Bobbie Jean Carter, the sister of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and the late Aaron Carter, passed away on December 23 at the age of 41. Her cause of death was determined to be "intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine," according to a report from the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department.

The report stated that Bobbie's roommate last saw her at 6:30 a.m. and found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor half an hour later. She was rushed to Tampa’s St. Joseph's Hospital but was pronounced dead at 8:02 a.m. The manner of death was listed as accidental.

Bobbie had a history of schizophrenia, according to her mother Jane, who is listed as her next of kin. The report also mentioned that she was taking several medications, including propranolol, omeprazole, clindamycin, and quetiapine.

This tragic event comes just over a year after the passing of her brother Aaron in November 2022 at the age of 34, and 11 years after the death of her sister Leslie in 2012 at the age of 25.

Despite initial reports suggesting that Bobbie was on probation for cocaine possession, her roommates stated that she had not used any narcotics since her release from prison. The sheriff's office confirmed that no narcotics or paraphernalia were found in her bedroom or bathroom, and there were no signs of foul play.

Bobbie's daughter, Bella, 8, is currently staying with her late father's sister, according to a family source. Nick Carter, in a heartfelt message, expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of his sister and thanked fans for their support.

Bobbie's mother, Jane, also paid tribute to her daughter, asking for prayers for her granddaughter Bella, who has now lost both her parents. Bobbie will be laid to rest in her home state of Florida.

Before her passing, Bobbie was arrested in June for allegedly stealing stickers and markers from a Hobby Lobby and was found to have drugs on her person. She was charged with retail theft and possession of fentanyl.

The Carter family has endured significant loss over the years, and they are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from fans during this difficult time.
