He had a serious agenda: supporting Republican candidate Brad Schimel in the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election. With liberals currently holding a narrow 4-3 majority, Musk is determined to shift the balance of power.
“If you think this is just about Wisconsin, you’d be wrong,” Musk told the energized crowd. “This election has the potential to impact not just the state, but the entire country—maybe even the world.”
Musk’s Big Money Move
In classic Musk fashion, he didn’t stop at rally speeches and cheesehead antics. His political action committee, America PAC, had already promised $100 to Wisconsin voters willing to sign a “Petition in Opposition to Activist Judges.” But then, Musk decided to up the stakes dramatically. He announced he’d be handing out a jaw-dropping $2 million to two lucky voters who participated—sending shockwaves through the political scene.
Wisconsin’s attorney general wasn’t amused and swiftly filed a lawsuit against Musk, attempting to block the payouts.
