Freedom Fest Returns: A Patriotic Celebration in Northern Kentucky

Written by Published

Freedom Fest, a prominent conservative rally in Northern Kentucky, is set to return this summer after being canceled twice last year. Known for its patriotic atmosphere filled with American flags, the event draws thousands of attendees and features notable speakers from the national GOP. Eric Deters, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, hosts the event on his Morning View farm, located about 20 miles south of Cincinnati.

Last year, Freedom Fest attracted approximately 10,000 participants and included speeches by Eric and Donald Trump Jr. However, plans for former President Trump to headline the event were derailed when he had to prioritize campaign activities in Iowa. Despite efforts to secure his attendance, Trump's campaign never confirmed his appearance.

Eric Deters, the event's host, has recently filed to run against U.S. Representative Thomas Massie in the GOP primary. Deters made headlines by filing a legal petition to remove Massie from the ballot due to an issue with one of his signatories. This move indicates Deters' continued involvement in politics beyond hosting Freedom Fest.

This year's Freedom Fest, spanning three days, will offer camping, a music festival, speakers, a fireworks display, and a church service. The family-friendly event, featuring games and food, will take place at Deters' farm on September 13-15. Additional information is available on the event's Facebook page, promising an exciting and memorable experience for attendees.
