Draymond Green has shared the locker room with some of the greatest players of his generation and has faced off against some legendary talents. However, there is one player the veteran forward wishes he had teamed up with during his career.
On a recent episode of Shaquille O'Neal's 'The Big Podcast,' Green opened up about his desire to play alongside LeBron James. "I would love to play with Bron," Green said. "Not necessarily because I want to be on his NBA team, but I'd love to study how his mind works on a daily basis in the basketball setting."
- Inside LeBron's Mind: Green expressed a strong interest in understanding LeBron’s approach to the game and his day-to-day routine. "I want to see how he processes adjustments, what his routine is like, and how he lands on his decisions," he shared.
Green’s friendship with LeBron is well-documented. He made it clear that his comments didn’t mean he wanted to join LeBron on the Los Angeles Lakers. Instead, he just wanted to experience the unique opportunity of being LeBron’s teammate and learning from him firsthand.
Despite Green's admiration, it's unlikely we'll see them on the same roster anytime soon. Both stars are expected to remain with their current teams until they retire. Unless Green gets a last-minute call-up to the Team USA Olympic roster, this dream of his might remain just that.
