The Denver Broncos checked out Florida Atlantic wide receiver Je’Quan Burton at The College Gridiron Showcase in January, as reported by The Draft Wire's Ryan Fowler. Burton, standing at 5-10 and 187 pounds, brings speed to the table, clocking a swift 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash, according to NFLDraftBuzz.com. His college journey started at Southern Illinois, where he played in seven games between 2018 and 2019. After a brief stint at Iowa Central in 2020, Burton moved to Florida Atlantic in 2021. During his time with the Owls, Burton snagged 84 catches for 1,277 yards and nine touchdowns. His breakout year was in 2022, with 33 catches, 517 yards, and four touchdowns.

Apart from his receiving skills, Burton also made an impact in the return game, tallying 25 kickoffs for 483 yards, averaging an impressive 19.3 yards per return. Despite his talents, Burton is currently projected to go undrafted. The Broncos, however, might have their eyes on him as a potential college free agent candidate.

Excitingly, the 2024 NFL draft is just around the corner, set to take place in Detroit from April 25-27. Stay tuned as we keep track of all the Broncos' pre-draft prospect visits on Broncos Wire.
