UCLA Freshman Sebastian Mack's Uncertain Status After Injury Setback in USC Win

Written by Published

UCLA Bruins' rookie, Sebastian Mack, had a tough time in Saturday's game against USC, but they still clinched a 65-50 win. Unfortunately, Mack was limited to just 19 minutes due to a lower-body injury, confirmed by Coach Mick Cronin in the post-game press conference – turns out it's a toe injury.

Although Mack practiced on Tuesday, he was a limited participant. He's been a star for the Bruins this season, leading with an average of 13.4 points per game in 20 matches. However, Saturday saw a dip with only four points, one rebound, and a 1-for-6 field performance.

As for Thursday night's game against Oregon State, Mack's status is up in the air as of Thursday morning. The showdown is set for 7:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network. Fingers crossed for a swift recovery!
