Massachusetts Lottery: $1 Million Scratch Ticket Sold at North Andover Market Claimed

A lucky Massachusetts lottery player is officially $1 million richer after claiming a winning scratch ticket on Wednesday. The winning ticket was purchased at Winner's Corner Market in North Andover and came from the "$4,000,000 In The Money" scratch game.

This marks the fourth $1 million prize claimed from the game's original nine million-dollar prizes. So far, only one of the game's $4 million grand prizes has been claimed.

Other Big Lottery Winners

Wednesday also brought several other exciting wins across the state:

  • $500,000 won on a "$500,000 Frenzy" scratch ticket purchased at Abington News in Abington.
  • $200,000 claimed from a "$200,000 Halloween" scratch ticket sold at J's Corner in Greenfield. It was the last remaining grand prize in that game.
  • Two separate $100,000 Mass Cash winners matched all five numbers in the midday drawing. The winning tickets were sold at Pudding Brook Pantry in Pembroke and Camilos Market in Roxbury.

Mass Cash Winning Numbers

The winning numbers for the Wednesday midday Mass Cash drawing were:

7 – 15 – 22 – 28 – 33

Mass Cash drawings are held twice every day, and each $1 play lets players pick five numbers from 1 through 35. Matching all five numbers wins the game's $100,000 top prize.

More Winners Across Massachusetts

Lottery luck wasn't limited to the biggest prizes. On Tuesday, at least 548 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed across Massachusetts.

Some of the biggest concentrations of winners included:

  • Boston: 50 winners
  • Worcester: 23 winners
  • Springfield: 11 winners

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of winning tickets for prizes valued at more than $600.

Biggest Win of the Year

The largest Massachusetts lottery prize claimed so far this year remains an incredible $25 million. The winning "$25,000,000 Mega Money" scratch ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Turners Falls, one of the five villages within Montague.
