Two Massachusetts lottery prizes totaling $150,000 are still unclaimed, and winners have just days left to collect their money.
The Massachusetts Lottery said Monday that a $100,000 Mass Cash prize and a $50,000 Powerball prize from August 2025 drawings are nearing their expiration dates.
Two Winning Tickets Still Unclaimed
- $100,000 Mass Cash: The ticket was bought on August 29, 2025, at T Square Food Shop on North Franklin Street in Holbrook. The deadline to claim the prize is Monday, August 31.
- $50,000 Powerball: This winning ticket was purchased on August 27, 2025, at Centre Liquor on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. The final claim date is Friday.
If the prizes go unclaimed, the money will become part of the Massachusetts Lottery's net profit and will eventually be distributed to the state's 351 cities and towns.
Where Winners Can Claim
Lottery prizes worth up to $103,000 can be collected at claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield and Worcester. Prizes exceeding $103,000 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.
Mass Cash drawings take place twice daily, every day of the week. Each play costs $1, and players choose five numbers from 1 to 35 or use Quic Pic for randomly selected numbers. Matching all five numbers wins the game's top prize.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2, with players selecting five numbers from 1 to 69 plus one Powerball number from 1 to 26. A ticket matching four white balls and the Powerball wins $50,000.
Anyone holding one of these tickets should act quickly before the deadlines pass.
