He had just scratched a $5 “Set for Life” lottery ticket and wasn’t sure what three matching symbols meant. So he handed it over to her to take a look.

“I passed her the ticket, she read the back, and then told me,” Gillow said in a Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) release.
At first, it didn’t fully sink in. But things got real when he scanned the ticket using the Lotto Spot app.
