$50,000 Powerball Ticket in Indiana Set to Expire October 13

A $50,000 Powerball prize is still waiting to be claimed in Indiana, but the winning ticket has a fast-approaching deadline.

The Hoosier Lottery says the ticket was purchased at Handy Spot Liquor No. 4, 1827 Lincolnway E. in Goshen, and it matched four white balls plus the Powerball in the Wednesday, April 15 drawing.

The winning numbers were:

• 13-21-27-43-45
• Powerball: 26

Lottery officials are urging players to check old tickets carefully. Someone could be holding the winning slip without realizing it.

The $50,000 ticket must be claimed by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13 at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.

Hoosier Lottery rules require prizes from draw games to be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. If you bought a Powerball ticket in the Goshen area for the April 15 drawing, it may be worth checking before the deadline passes.
