If you’ve got old lottery tickets tucked in a purse, stuffed in a jacket you never wear, or hiding under the couch cushions, now’s the moment to dig them out. Someone in Birmingham is sitting on a £1 million Lotto prize—and they don’t even know it.
The winning ticket was bought for the May 24, 2025 draw, matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. The lucky combo? 9, 12, 13, 26, 38, 40, with Bonus Ball 4.
But here’s the kicker: the winner still hasn’t come forward.
Even after National Lottery teams hit the streets in late October trying to track down the mystery millionaire, the prize hasn’t been claimed. And the clock is ticking fast—the ticket expires midnight, November 20, 2025.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, is basically begging players to search everywhere:
-
Bottom of bags
-
Pockets of rarely worn coats
-
Anywhere tickets may have been forgotten
“We’d love nothing more than to reunite this player with such a life-changing amount,” he said. Time, however, is slipping away.
And here’s a wild twist—Birmingham actually has TWO missing millionaires.
There’s also an unclaimed EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker ticket from the August 15, 2025 draw. The winning code to look for is VLPL 28287, and that player has until February 11, 2026 to step forward.
If neither winner shows up, the prize money (plus interest) will support National Lottery–funded projects across the UK—still a good outcome, but nowhere near as good as someone discovering they’ve been a millionaire this whole time.
So seriously… check everywhere. It could be you.
