Two California Lottery Scratchers bought in the High Desert turned into $1.1 million in total winnings for two lucky players.
The big wins were announced by the California Lottery on Saturday, September 19.
One lucky player picked up a $5 “Loteria Extra!” ticket at Tobacco Zone on Hesperia Road in Victorville. That ticket landed a $100,000 top prize.
The bigger surprise came from Palmdale, where a $10 “California Color Pop” ticket purchased at C&A Luxor Market on 170th Street East hit a $1 million top prize.

The California Lottery also highlighted a couple of other notable prizes:
- $1 million from a “$1,000,000 Poker” ticket sold in San Jose
- $20,000 from a “Fireball Bingo” ticket purchased in Dinuba
With several major prizes recently claimed across the state, California Scratchers players have had plenty of reasons to check their tickets.
