A Cape Cod woman is celebrating a life-changing lottery win after landing a $2 million grand prize from a popular scratch ticket game.
Leslie McDonough of Harwich struck it lucky playing the "$2,000,000 50X Cashword" scratch ticket, a crossword-style game that costs $10 per play. She officially claimed her prize on May 28.
Instead of receiving the full prize in annual payments, McDonough chose the cash option and took home a one-time payment of $1.3 million before taxes.
