A whole lot of excitement is buzzing around Donegal after one EuroMillions player hit a massive €500,000 in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus draw. And get this—another €500,000 prize from October is still sitting unclaimed.
A Lucky Quick Pick
The winning Quick Pick ticket for Tuesday’s prize was bought the same day at XL Blaney Stores in Lagg, Milford, Letterkenny. The winning numbers were: 04, 06, 18, 25, 27.
Store owner John Blaney was thrilled when he got the news.
He said he never expected that phone call and hopes one of the locals is now tearing through pockets, drawers, or bags to find their ticket.
Blaney added:
-
“Imagine winning €500,000 right before Christmas!”
-
He’s already encouraging all customers to double-check their tickets.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr reminded players that the winning ticket could be anywhere—
maybe in a glovebox, purse, jacket pocket, or forgotten drawer.
With the January 10 deadline coming fast, she urges Donegal players to take one more look before that prize disappears for good.
