A Georgia lottery player is celebrating a $1 million Powerball win after matching all five white-ball numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 5, 15, 26, 29 and 30, along with the red Powerball 14.
While no one hit the jackpot, the big Georgia win still delivered a seven-figure prize. The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday night, with an estimated jackpot of $360 million.
More Big Lottery Wins in Georgia
The latest Powerball prize adds to a busy stretch for Georgia lottery players. Since August, the Georgia Lottery has reported several major scratch-ticket prizes, including:
- $4 million in Athens
- $3 million in Liberty County and Thomaston
- $2 million in Cumming and Warner Robins
- $1 million in Augusta
There was also another notable Powerball winner Wednesday. One player matched four white balls plus the red Powerball and won $250,000 after using the 5X Power Play option. Without the multiplier, that combination would normally pay $50,000.
Meanwhile, Mega Millions players have another big drawing to watch. Friday night’s drawing carries an estimated $277 million jackpot, giving lottery fans another shot at a life-changing prize.
