GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich. – A lucky man from Gratiot County just hit it big, scoring $250,000 with a KENO! ticket.
The winner, who’s keeping his name private, matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn to claim the game’s top prize, according to the Michigan Lottery.
He’s been a daily KENO! player for years, but this winning set of numbers has only been in rotation for about six months. “Winning a large lottery prize like this is a wild feeling, but also a huge blessing!” he shared.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer gas station in Alma, located at 7420 North Alger Road. He found out he’d won when he scanned the ticket at a lucky spot scanner and got a message telling him to file a claim. “My wife double-checked the winning numbers, and that’s when it really hit me—I’d won $250,000!” he said.
