In-N-Out, the renowned California fast-food chain, is preparing to make its debut in Washington state with a proposed location in Ridgefield, Clark County. This would mark the first In-N-Out establishment in the state, situated near the under-construction Ridgefield Costco at Union Ridge Town Center on Pioneer Street, just west of Interstate 5. The city of Ridgefield anticipates a meticulously designed building that harmonizes with both the local area and the In-N-Out brand, according to planning documents.
While an official opening date has not been announced, Mike Abbate, In-N-Out's Vice President of Store Development, indicated that the process typically takes between eight to nine months once construction commences. Despite being in the early stages, Abbate expressed optimism about the project and the potential for In-N-Out to become a valued member of the Ridgefield community.
The proposed In-N-Out location in Ridgefield is envisioned to encompass a 4,354-square-foot building with a covered patio and 76 parking stalls, including a drive-thru capable of accommodating 46 cars. Operating hours are expected to be 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with approximately 10 to 15 associates per shift across three daily shifts.
This particular In-N-Out location will feature a unique design, departing from the chain's typical style, incorporating darker colors and different building materials to align with the city's preferences. In-N-Out's reputation for its simple yet delicious menu offerings, including burgers, cheeseburgers, milkshakes, and fries, is expected to draw significant attention. The restaurant's "Not So Secret Menu," which allows for various burger customizations, is sure to be a hit, offering options like double or triple patties and animal-style preparation.
