Macomb Man Hits $491,980 Fantasy 5 Jackpot
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Talk about a surprise! A Macomb County man couldn’t believe his luck when he realized he had just won a $491,980 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.
The 60-year-old, who asked to remain anonymous, matched all five numbers — 10, 13, 25, 30, 37 — in the drawing on December 27. “I checked my ticket over and over. I couldn’t believe it!” he said. “Winning feels amazing because it’s money you don’t have to work for. It’s like getting a big bonus!”
He bought the lucky ticket at Meijer on Mound Road in Warren, a spot he says he visits regularly to play his favorite games: Fantasy 5 and KENO!.
After claiming his prize, the winner shared his plans: first, he’ll pay off his house, then save the rest. Not a bad way to ring in some financial freedom!
