• Prizes over $600: Claim by mail, at Maryland Lottery headquarters, an Expanded Cashing Authority location, or eligible Maryland casino cashier windows.
• Prizes over $5,000: Must be claimed in person.

Claiming by Mail

To claim your prize by mail:

• Sign the back of your winning ticket.
• Complete a claim form.
• Include a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Include proof of your Social Security number or Federal Tax ID.

Claiming in Person

Players claiming prizes above $600 should bring:

Appointments are required at Maryland Lottery headquarters, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All prize amounts, including jackpots over $5,000, can be processed there.
