A quick pit stop for gas turned into a $100,000 jackpot for a New Carrolton man in Maryland.
He stopped at a Shell station in Hyattsville just to fill up, but while pumping gas, he had a sudden thought: “Why not grab a scratch-off?”
- He picked the $10 Red 5’s Doubler game.
- Scratched it off immediately.
- Revealed a whopping $100,000 prize.
“I looked at the ticket and it said I was a $100,000 winner,” he told Maryland Lottery officials. Excited, he ran back to his car to call his wife and share the good news.
