Massachusetts Lottery Hits: $1M Scratch-Off & $100K Mass Cash Wins

Written by Published

A lucky Massachusetts player hit big on Monday, claiming a $1 million prize from a $50 scratch-off game!

The winning ticket came from the “$25,000,000 Mega Money” game, which launched in May 2025. At $50 a ticket, it’s one of the higher-stakes scratchers out there—and excitement is still alive, with:

  • Two $25 million grand prizes still up for grabs
  • Three $2 million prizes remaining
  • Seven $1 million prizes waiting to be claimed

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Dick’s Variety North in Salisbury, marking another big win for the Bay State.

Monday wasn’t just lucky for scratch-off players. The evening “Mass Cash” drawing on March 23 produced two winners of $100,000 each! The winning numbers were 15, 17, 25, 26, and 29. One ticket came from New Corner Variety in Chicopee, and the other from Shaw’s grocery store in Wakefield.

Massachusetts had a big payout day overall, with at least 693 prizes worth $600 or more claimed across the state. Some cities with multiple winners included:

  • Boston: 57 prizes
  • Worcester: 34 prizes
  • Springfield: 13 prizes

The Massachusetts State Lottery posts daily updates for all winning tickets over $600, keeping players in the loop on every win.

Earlier this year, the largest prize claimed in Massachusetts was a staggering $25 million, also from the “$25,000,000 Mega Money” game. That life-changing ticket was sold at Cumberland Farms in Turners Falls, part of the scenic Franklin County.

With big prizes still waiting, it looks like Massachusetts players could see even more life-changing wins this year!
