Massachusetts Lottery Scratch Ticket Wins $1 Million Prize

A lucky lottery player has landed a $1 million prize after purchasing a winning scratch-off ticket at Cumberland Farms in Gilbertville, Massachusetts.

The winning ticket came from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s "$2,000,000 Stacked" scratch-ticket game. Baker Law Group Mass Lottery Trust XXII of Hingham claimed the prize, with trustee Michael Baker representing the trust.

Instead of taking the full prize through annual payments, the winner opted for a one-time cash payment of $650,000 before taxes.

According to Baker, the winner plans to use the money to help fund retirement.

The ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms, located at 29 Hardwick Road in Gilbertville.

More prizes are still up for grabs! As of October 15, three $1 million prizes remained unclaimed in the "$2,000,000 Stacked" game, giving other players a chance to strike it lucky.
