Massachusetts players had a huge day at the lottery on Tuesday, with prizes worth $2 million, $1 million, and two separate $500,000 wins all officially claimed across the state.
The biggest prize came from the popular “$2,000,000 Stacked” scratch ticket game, which launched in February. The lucky $2 million winning ticket was sold at Route 110 Convenience in Methuen. Even with that win, there are still 11 grand prizes left in the game as of May 27.
Another massive win came from the “$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” scratch ticket. A $1 million prize-winning ticket was purchased at The Variety Store in Randolph. Meanwhile, one of the $500,000 prizes came from a “Big Blue Bonus Cashword 2025” ticket sold at a Nouria location in Wareham.
One of the most talked-about wins involved the brand-new “$500,000 Frenzy” scratch game. The $50 ticket first hit stores on May 12 and has quickly gained attention statewide. The latest top-prize ticket was sold at Winner’s Corner MA in North Andover.
Why Players Are Buzzing About “$500,000 Frenzy”
- The game gives players 50 chances to win
- Top prize is $500,000
- Lottery officials say it offers the best odds ever for winning that amount in Massachusetts
According to Massachusetts State Lottery Executive Director Mark William Bracken, the game was designed to give players stronger chances at landing a major prize compared to earlier $50 tickets that focused on multi-million-dollar jackpots.
Tuesday’s $500,000 claim marked the second top prize awarded in the game so far. The first winning ticket was previously sold at a Shell gas station in Buzzards Bay on Cape Cod.
Lottery luck was spread all across Massachusetts that day. State officials reported at least 749 prizes worth $600 or more were either won or claimed on Tuesday alone, including:
- 74 prizes in Boston
- 29 prizes in Worcester
- 20 prizes in Springfield
The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of winning tickets for prizes over $600, giving players a chance to track major wins happening around the state.
So far in 2026, the biggest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts remains a massive $25 million jackpot from the “$25,000,000 Mega Money” scratch game. That winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Turners Falls, the largest village in Montague.
