A lucky lottery player in Massachusetts just scored a huge payday after a $100,000 winning scratch ticket was sold at a Market Basket store in Reading and claimed on Monday. The prize came from the popular “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” $30 scratch game, which still has plenty of massive prizes left up for grabs.

Big prizes still available

As of May 19, the game still features:

  • 2 grand prizes worth $15 million
  • 6 prizes worth $1 million
  • 120 prizes worth $100,000

Monday turned into a big day for lottery winners across the state. Another player cashed in a $200,000 winning ticket purchased at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Taunton.

Meanwhile, a separate $100,000 winner hit during the midday “Mass Cash” drawing after buying a ticket at Low Price Convenience in Fall River. The winning numbers were: 7, 20, 27, 31, and 34.

Overall, Massachusetts saw a wave of lottery wins, with 632 prizes worth $600 or more either won or claimed in a single day. That included:

  • 62 winners in Boston
  • 20 winners in Worcester
  • 16 winners in Springfield

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of prizes over $600, giving players a closer look at where the biggest wins are happening statewide.

So far, the largest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts this year remains an eye-popping $25 million Mega Money scratch ticket sold at a Cumberland Farms in Turners Falls.
