A Massachusetts woman just scored one of those “life-changing” moments — $25,000 a year for life — and she already knows exactly how she’s celebrating.
Vivian Perry of Blackstone hit big on the Lucky for Life game on Nov. 15, and she officially claimed her prize this week. Instead of taking the yearly payments, she went for the cash option and walked away with a one-time payout of $390,000 before taxes.
And what’s first on her list? A dream vacation. Perry told lottery officials she’s jetting off to Italy for the trip of a lifetime — honestly, a perfect way to kick off a lucky streak.
She bought her winning ticket at George’s Variety on Central Street in Millville. The store isn’t missing out either — they’ll pocket a $5,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
A few other recent Massachusetts Lottery highlights include:
-
Big wins at major grocery stores
-
A $10 crossword ticket striking for $1 million
-
Multiple $100,000 Mass Cash prizes hitting on Tuesday
-
And the final $1 million scratch ticket prize officially claimed
