“When confetti and balloons popped up on the screen with a $1 million prize, he could hardly believe it,” said club spokesperson Tracy Thompson.
The winner initially thought it was a glitch. He kept rescanning the ticket, and each time, the app confirmed $1,000,000.

The couple soon realized the ticket matched all five white balls from the December 20 drawing. They didn’t get the Powerball number, but the second-tier prize of $1 million was still theirs. The winning ticket was purchased at Murphy USA, 4888 US Highway 10, Ludington, MI.
