A routine stop for gas turned into an unforgettable payday for 57-year-old William Beatty of Muskegon after his Powerball ticket landed a $100,000 prize.

Beatty purchased his ticket from the lottery kiosk at the Wesco gas station on E. Apple Avenue before the July 1 Powerball drawing. His numbers matched four white balls and the Powerball (02-06-26-39-68, PB: 06), earning a $50,000 prize. Thanks to the Power Play option, his winnings doubled to $100,000.
