A lucky lottery player in Union County, New Jersey, is $224,728 richer after hitting a share of the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in the Tuesday, September 8, drawing.
The winning numbers were:
- 01, 15, 17, 29, 30
- Bullseye: 30
- XTRA: 03
The $449,453 jackpot was split between the Union County winner and another player who purchased a winning ticket through the Jackpocket app. Each winner takes home $224,728.
The Union County ticket was sold at Quick Chek #196, 475 Terrill Road in Plainfield. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The other winning retailer will also receive a $2,000 bonus.
Jersey Cash 5 is a daily New Jersey Lottery game. Players choose five numbers from 1 through 45, with the optional XTRA feature offering a chance to boost non-jackpot prizes by as much as five times.
Drawings take place every night at 10:57 p.m., giving New Jersey players a new shot at a big prize seven days a week.
