A North Jersey lottery player hit a big prize Tuesday morning, winning more than $175,000 through the New Jersey Lottery’s Quick Draw Progressive game.
The winning ticket, worth $176,632, was sold at US Quick Food Mart on Central Avenue in East Orange, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The player won 40% of the progressive jackpot.
And the jackpot is still growing. The Quick Draw Progressive jackpot is now estimated at more than $265,000.
How Does Quick Draw Progressive Work?
The Quick Draw Progressive jackpot is available to all Quick Draw players at no extra cost. Each ticket includes nine “Your Jackpot Numbers,” ranging from 0 to 80.
If all nine numbers match, the player receives a share of the progressive jackpot based on the amount wagered:
- $1 ticket: 10% of the jackpot
- $2 ticket: 20%
- $10 or more: 100% of the jackpot
Quick Draw drawings happen every four minutes, giving players plenty of chances to try their luck throughout the day.
