"Pakistan's Nuclear Weapons a Global Threat," Says AIMIM Chief Owaisi — Slams IMF, Calls for Solidarity With Indian Army

Hyderabad, May 10 — All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has unleashed a fiery critique against Pakistan, urging the international community to seriously consider dismantling Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, labelling the nation as a "global threat." In a charged-up address at a press meet, Owaisi didn't hold back — from condemning Pakistan's "malicious" targeting of health facilities to questioning financial support from global powers.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg.

🎯 Operation Sindoor: India's Fierce Retaliation

While political sparks flew, tensions on the ground intensified as the Indian Armed Forces launched "Operation Sindoor" — a bold military move in the early hours of May 7th. The operation was a strategic retaliation to the horrifying terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, where 26 innocent lives, including one Nepali national, were lost.

As part of the mission, Indian forces struck multiple terror-linked infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). Targets were precisely chosen to eliminate terrorist hideouts without causing unnecessary civilian casualties.

🎯 Precision Strikes & A Show of Strength

Colonel Sofiya Qureshi confirmed that India's fighter jets carried out precision airstrikes on significant Pakistani military targets in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian. In addition, radar sites at Pasrur and Sialkot were hit using state-of-the-art air-launched weaponry.

However, the situation wasn't one-sided. Pakistan retaliated with high-speed missiles at 1:40 AM, targeting Punjab’s airbase. Several Indian airbases, including Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhuj, and Bathinda, suffered structural damage, and a number of personnel were reportedly injured.

💥 "Pakistan Shouldn’t Be Trusted With Nukes" – Owaisi

Returning to the political battlefield, Owaisi called out the sheer irresponsibility of allowing a nation like Pakistan to possess nuclear arms.

“We have to stand firm like a wall against a country that is a danger to the entire world,” he thundered. “The time has come for world leaders to decide whether Pakistan should continue to hold nuclear weapons. They should be disarmed and destroyed.”

The AIMIM chief was particularly enraged by reports that Pakistan had deliberately targeted dispensaries in Srinagar during their attacks. “What kind of country attacks hospitals and clinics? This is the height of malicious intent. We must rally behind our Army and reject Pakistan's propaganda completely.”

🧨 IMF or ‘International Militant Fund’?

Owaisi didn’t stop at Pakistan. He took a sharp dig at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as well, slamming it for approving a $1 billion loan to Pakistan.

"They are official beggars. Pakistan doesn’t need a bailout; they’re being funded for militancy! The IMF should be renamed as the International Militant Fund. How can countries like the USA, Germany, and Japan sign off on this?" he questioned.

He further accused Pakistan of using such funds not for economic revival but to fuel militancy and destabilise the region, especially by spreading false ideologies and stoking religious tensions.

💣 The Propaganda War: Lies & Misinformation

In a joint press conference, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh exposed the misinformation tactics being used by Pakistan. They stated clearly that Pakistan’s narrative about damaging India’s critical defence infrastructure was outright false.

“They claimed destruction of S-400 systems, BrahMos units, and artillery bases. All lies. These are deliberate attempts to instil fear and undermine our military credibility,” said Wing Commander Singh.

She added that disinformation about damages to bases like Adampur, Suratgarh, Sirsa, and Nagrota were all part of a grand narrative aimed at psychological warfare.

🛡️ India’s Response: Responsible Yet Firm

Despite the heat of the situation, India maintained a measured and responsible stance.

“Pakistan’s actions were clearly provocative and escalatory,” said Foreign Secretary Misri. “But India responded with precision, responsibility, and integrity.

This sentiment was echoed across official circles, where the call was for unity and unwavering support to the armed forces. "Now more than ever, citizens need to stand behind our jawans and reject Pakistan’s divisive games," said Owaisi.

🔥 Key Highlights from the Escalation:

  • Operation Sindoor launched by India as a direct counter-strike to April 22 terror attack.

  • Airstrikes targeted strategic military and radar bases in Pakistan and PoK.

  • Pakistan retaliated with high-speed missiles, damaging Indian airbases.

  • Disinformation war by Pakistan debunked by Indian defence officials.

  • Owaisi called for global disarmament of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal.

  • IMF criticized for funding a “failed and dangerous state.”

🧠 The Bigger Picture: What’s Next?

The ongoing Indo-Pak tensions are no longer just border disputes. The stakes are higher now, involving nuclear rhetoric, global diplomatic influence, and a clear propaganda war. The spotlight is firmly on global powers to act — not just with sanctions or statements, but with accountability.

India, on the other hand, has shown that while it believes in peace, it is not afraid to strike when provoked. The message is loud and clear: terrorism and misinformation won’t be tolerated.

📣 Final Word

Whether it's the battlefield or the international podium, voices like Asaduddin Owaisi’s reflect a growing Indian sentiment of zero tolerance for state-sponsored terror. With military precision, diplomatic poise, and political clarity, India is drawing a red line that cannot be ignored.

So, what should the world do now?

✅ Call out state terrorism.
✅ Cut financial support to rogue nations.
✅ Disarm threats before they escalate.
✅ And above all, stand united in the face of evil — both on the ground and in ideology.
