Phoenix Player Hits $1M Powerball; $1.25B Jackpot Still Up for Grabs

A quick stop at a Phoenix gas station turned into a million-dollar surprise on Monday night.

A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at Cobblestone Auto Spa, located near Tatum Road and Cave Creek Road, just south of the Cave Creek area. Not a bad return for a routine stop.

This winning ticket was one of only two million-dollar Powerball tickets sold across the country in the latest drawing. The other lucky win happened in California.

Here’s what came up in the drawing:

  • Winning numbers: 23, 35, 59, 63, 68

  • Powerball: 2

While someone in Phoenix is celebrating, the grand prize is still up for grabs. The Powerball jackpot wasn’t claimed and has now climbed to an estimated $1.25 billion, with the next drawing set for Wednesday.
