Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $950 Million After Aug. 27 Drawing

No one hit the grand prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, and that means the jackpot just soared to a jaw-dropping $950 million with a cash option of $428.9 million. That makes it the 6th biggest jackpot in Powerball history.

  • Winning numbers (Aug. 27): 9 – 12 – 22 – 41 – 61 | Powerball: 25 | Power Play: 4X

  • Winners: No jackpot winner, but players in Mississippi, Ohio, and Virginia snagged $2 million each with Match 5 + Power Play. Arizona, New York, and Virginia also saw $1 million winners. Plus, 40 tickets won $50,000 and 10 tickets scored $200,000.

This was the 38th draw since the last Powerball jackpot was hit in California back on May 31, 2025.
