Authorities raided rapper and record producer Sean "Diddy" Combs' multi-million dollar home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of West LA on Monday afternoon. Homeland Security Investigations conducted search warrants at his LA mansion and a Miami property, possibly linked to a sex trafficking investigation. Sources revealed that three Jane Does and one John Doe have been interviewed in relation to sex trafficking, sexual assault, and other illegal activities allegedly involving Combs, with more interviews scheduled.
During the raid, officials wearing protective gear and weapons surrounded the property, some identified as being from Homeland Security Investigations. Simultaneously, federal authorities were present at Combs' Florida property. Combs was in Miami at the time of the raids, and his phones were seized as he was preparing to leave for the Bahamas.
In a statement, Homeland Security confirmed the ongoing investigation involving HSI New York, HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. Combs is also facing a lawsuit from a woman who accused him and two other men of raping her 20 years ago in a New York City recording studio when she was 17. The lawsuit alleges that the woman was flown to New York, given drugs and alcohol, and raped by Pierre, Combs, and another man. Combs has denied the allegations, stating, "I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth."
