Rhode Island lottery players can now combine their love of football and lottery games with the launch of Powerball Xs & Os, a new NFL-themed game that debuted Tuesday.
The $5 game gives players a chance to pick eight logos from all 32 NFL teams. Every Sunday at 10 p.m., eight logos will be randomly selected, starting September 13.
Here’s how it works:
- Match at least four logos to win a cash prize.
- Match all eight logos to hit the rolling jackpot.
- The jackpot starts at an exciting $1 million.
The Rhode Island Lottery stressed that the logo drawings are completely random and have nothing to do with actual NFL game results.
Players can purchase tickets from Rhode Island Lottery retailers, RILot.com, or the lottery’s mobile app.
There’s also a promotional bonus. Players can enter their tickets through PowerballOfficial.com to collect points for prize drawings featuring NFL Shop gift cards, NFL experiences and even a Super Bowl trip. They can choose which promotional prizes they want their entries to count toward, with no extra fee beyond buying the ticket.
