If you grabbed a “CASH POP” ticket for the Nov. 17 drawing and noticed it was marked “ALL,” the South Carolina Education Lottery wants you to know it was printed by mistake — and yes, you can get your money back.
Lottery officials confirmed that 214 tickets were hit by a printing glitch. Instead of showing “DAY” or “EVE,” the tickets incorrectly displayed “ALL,” which automatically makes them ineligible for prizes under state law.
Key point: Tickets printed or issued in error cannot be paid, according to South Carolina Code Section 59-150-230(C)(3)(a).
The issue has since been tracked down to a technical problem with Brightstar Lottery, the state’s terminal game vendor. The bug has been fixed, and CASH POP sales are back to normal.
