How to Claim a South Dakota Lottery Prize
If you hit a winning combination, here's what you need to know:
- Prizes of $100 or less: Claim them at any South Dakota Lottery retailer.
- Prizes of $101 or more: Claims must be made through the Lottery. For mail-in claims, send a completed claim form and your signed winning ticket to the South Dakota Lottery at 711 E. Wells Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501.
- Major prizes: Winning jackpot tickets for Dakota Cash or Lotto America, top prizes for Lucky for Life, and second-prize Powerball or Mega Millions tickets must be presented in person at a Lottery office.
- Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots: Jackpot-winning tickets must be presented in person at the Lottery office in Pierre.
