How to Claim a South Dakota Lottery Prize
- Prizes of $100 or less: Can be claimed at any South Dakota Lottery retailer.
- Prizes of $101 or more: Must be claimed through the South Dakota Lottery. Winners can mail a completed claim form along with their signed winning ticket to 711 E. Wells Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501.
- Major prizes: Certain top prizes must be claimed in person at a Lottery office. This includes Dakota Cash and Lotto America jackpot tickets, Lucky for Life top-prize tickets, and second-prize Powerball and Mega Millions tickets.
- Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots: Winning jackpot tickets must be presented in person at the Lottery office in Pierre.
