Winning a prize? Here’s what you need to know:
- Prizes of $100 or less: Can be claimed at any South Dakota Lottery retailer.
- Prizes of $101 or more: Must be claimed directly through the South Dakota Lottery. For mail-in claims, send a completed claim form along with your signed winning ticket to the Lottery at 711 E. Wells Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501.
- Major winning tickets: Jackpot-winning Dakota Cash or Lotto America tickets, top-prize Lucky for Life tickets, and second-prize Powerball or Mega Millions tickets must be presented in person at a Lottery office.
- Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots: Winning jackpot tickets must be presented in person at the South Dakota Lottery office in Pierre.
