The body of Riley Strain, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student who went missing in Nashville after being kicked out of Luke Bryan’s bar, has been found in the Cumberland River. Police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Strain was on a weekend trip to Nashville when he disappeared, and despite efforts from friends, family, and authorities, he remained unreachable.

The discovery was made about 8 miles from downtown Nashville, and police had been actively searching the area. The medical examiner's office used various identifying factors, including a shirt and a watch, to confirm the body's identity. An autopsy was pending at the time, and Strain's family had been notified.

Strain was last seen on March 8 at 9:52 p.m. on Gay Street, where he had been overserved according to a bartender. His bank card was later found on an embankment near the Cumberland River. Bodycam footage showed a brief interaction between Strain and a police officer that night, but there was no indication of distress.

Luke's 32 Bridge, the bar where Strain was drinking, stated that he was served one alcoholic drink and two waters before being escorted out by security based on conduct standards. The Tennessee Alcohol and Beverage Commission is investigating the incident.

The University of Missouri expressed condolences, noting that Strain was in Nashville for a private event. Strain's family, devastated by the loss, urged people to hold their loved ones close, emphasizing the importance of family bonds. Luke Bryan and many others offered prayers and support during the search for Strain.
