How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
Won a prize? Your signed winning ticket is required to claim it.
- Up to $499: Prizes can be claimed at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or the Vermont Lottery Headquarters.
- $500 to $5,000: Winners can claim prizes at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Vermont Lottery business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters with a government-issued photo ID and completed claim form.
All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

What Is Vermont Lottery Second Chance?
Vermont's 2nd Chance program gives players another shot at winning after purchasing an eligible non-winning instant scratch ticket.
Players can register eligible tickets through the Vermont Lottery's official website or app. Second-chance drawings are generally held quarterly or as part of special promotions.
The drawings are conducted at Pollard Banknote Limited in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
