The Vermont Lottery gives players several ways to chase a big prize, from daily draw games to popular national jackpots.
Players can take part in Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, MegaBucks, Pick 3, Pick 4, Gimme 5 and other games. Vermont also works with Maine and New Hampshire on the Tri-State Lottery, offering additional chances to win.

How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
If you hit a winning number, the amount of your prize determines where you can claim it.
- Up to $499: Claim at any authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or the Vermont Lottery Headquarters. Bring your signed winning ticket for validation.
- $500 to $5,000: Prizes can be claimed at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Vermont Lottery business hours, generally 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim their prizes in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters with a signed ticket, government-issued photo ID and completed claim form.
All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

What Is Vermont Lottery Second Chance?
Vermont's 2nd Chance program gives players another shot at winning with eligible non-winning instant scratch tickets. Players can enter qualifying tickets for drawings that may offer cash or other prizes.
To participate, players need to register through the Vermont Lottery's official website or app. Second Chance drawings are typically held quarterly or as part of special promotions, with drawings conducted by Pollard Banknote Limited in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
