Prize-claim rules depend on how much you've won:
- Up to $499: Prizes can be claimed at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or the Vermont Lottery Headquarters. The winning ticket must be signed and validated.
- $500 to $5,000: Winners can claim prizes at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery office business hours, generally 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim their prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters.
For larger prizes, winners must provide a government-issued photo ID, signed winning ticket, and completed claim form.
Lottery prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
