How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
Already holding a winning ticket? The claim process depends on the prize amount:
- Up to $499: Prizes can be claimed at any authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. The winning ticket must be signed and presented for validation.
- $500 to $5,000: Winners can claim these prizes at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Vermont Lottery business hours, generally 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters.
For prizes above $5,000, winners also need a government-issued photo ID and a completed claim form, along with the signed winning ticket.
