How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
Prize-claim rules depend on how much you won:
- Up to $499: Winners can claim prizes at any authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. The winning ticket must be signed and presented for validation.
- $500 to $5,000: These prizes can be claimed at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery Office business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. A signed ticket, government-issued photo ID, and completed claim form are required.
All Vermont Lottery prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
