How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize

The process depends on how much you've won:

  • Up to $499: Claim your signed winning ticket at any authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Lottery headquarters.
  • $500 to $5,000: Winners can claim prizes at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery business hours.
  • More than $5,000: You must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. Bring your signed ticket, government-issued photo ID, and a completed claim form.

The Vermont Lottery office is generally open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.

All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
