How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize

Prize claims depend on the amount won:

  • Up to $499: Claim at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Vermont Lottery Headquarters with your signed winning ticket.
  • $500 to $5,000: Claims can be made at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery office business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
  • More than $5,000: Winners must claim their prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. A signed ticket, government-issued photo ID and completed claim form are required.

All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
