Om Fahad, whose real name was Ghufran Sawadi, was popular for her fun TikTok videos, where she danced to Iraqi music and wore trendy outfits, amassing nearly half a million followers. However, she was involved in a feud with another influencer, Dalia Naeem, known as the "Iraqi Barbie." Their dispute reportedly escalated recently, with Naeem threatening to expose a supposed relationship with high-ranking Iraqi officials.
The aftermath of Om Fahad's death saw legal repercussions. She had previously been sentenced to six months in jail for sharing videos deemed to have indecent speech.
